Ming Garden is a contemporary porcelain ritual set inspired by the refined visual language of Ming-dynasty (AD 1465–1487), doucai ceramics. The set includes a lidded gaiwan, a multifunctional object rest, and a white flower incense holder, forming a quiet arrangement for tea, scent, and stillness.
Jingdezhen has been known for one of the most important centers of official and imperial porcelain since the Song dynasty (AD 960–1279). Within this long ceramic lineage, doucai became one of its most distinctive decorative languages. Traditional doucai is known for the delicate relationship between underglaze blue outlines and overglaze enamel color.
This set uses doucai-inspired underglaze decal decoration, allowing the pattern to sit beneath the glaze surface. The result is a smooth, even finish that is better suited to stable, reassuring, and accessible daily tea use.
