In classical culture, the chrysanthemum is revered as the "Hermit of Flowers," symbolizing nobility, tranquility, and longevity. The continuous scrolling vines (缠枝) intertwining with the blooms represent endless vitality and eternal blessings.
Meticulously hand-painted, the deep indigo pigment captures the intricate layering of the petals and the rhythmic flow of the vines with lifelike precision. Additionally, the rim and the foot of the cup are bordered by classic double blue lines (双弦纹).
