Its most striking physical attribute is the "Eggshell" (薄胎 - botai) craftsmanship. The porcelain body is meticulously thinned to be exceptionally lightweight and beautifully translucent when held to the light. Motif & Technique: Stippled Dragons Through Flowers 
The surface of both the lid and bowl is covered in the classic "Dragons Wandering Through Flowers" (龙穿花) motif. In traditional culture, the dragon is the ultimate symbol of imperial power, strength, and auspicious energy, while the continuous scrolling floral vines represent eternity and boundless vitality. The stylized dragons intertwine seamlessly with the flora, creating a dynamic, rhythmic composition.
The highest artistic value of this piece lies in the rigorous Stippling Technique (点工 - diangong) used by the artisan. Instead of using broad washes of cobalt to create shading, the painter meticulously applies thousands of tiny, concentrated dots. By varying the density and depth of these dots, the artisan renders the shadows and textures of the dragons' bodies. This highly demanding, pointillism-like approach grants the two-dimensional blue and white design an extraordinary sense of three-dimensional depth and structural tension.
