Originating from Jingdezhen, this Sancai Gaiwan (a traditional three-piece tea vessel) features a classic, well-proportioned silhouette. The rounded bowl harmonizes perfectly with the fitted lid and saucer, presenting a balanced and tranquil classical elegance. The piece maintains a pure, restrained visual aesthetic with clear, deep indigo tones, serving as both a highly functional brewing vessel and a miniature cultural archive suspended in time.

Motif: Interlocking Peony The main body of the vessel is adorned with the classic "Interlocking Peony" (缠枝牡丹) motif. The peony, historically revered as the "King of Flowers," symbolizes prosperity and grace. The "interlocking" or scrolling vine structure features continuous, overlapping stems, representing eternity, endless vitality, and generations of continuity.
Every detail is meticulously hand-painted stroke by stroke. The artisan employs masterful shading techniques to give the blooming petals a natural, dimensional depth, while the vines are outlined with fluid, resilient strokes. Notably, the rim of the lid is bordered by a traditional wave pattern, providing a structured, orderly architectural frame to the elaborate and lively floral display.
